Common Course
  • should reside 6 months or more after entry to Korea

Korean Language Training Course
  • Ave. 90% attendance rate or more out of total sessions of completion

  • acquire Korean TOPIK Level 2 or higher

Master and Doctor’s Degree Course
  • Ave. GPA 2.0 or more of the previous session

  • acquire Korean TOPIK Level 4 or higher

Time Allowed (based on the Guidelines on Foreigners’ Stay, Feb. 2002)

How to Apply a Part-time Job :

  • Reservation : It is required to reserve a pre-visit on the website of Hi Korea (https://www.hikorea.go.kr/)
  • List of Documents to Present : - Integrated Application Form (a form designated by the Ministry of Justice) - Alien ID Card (Alien Registration Card) - Passport - Certificate of TOPIK (a certificate holder only) - Copy of Certificate for Registration of Business - Copy of the business owner’s ID card - Copy of Standard Employment Agreement (including an hourly pay, tasks and duties assigned, working hour, etc.) - Official Transcript (issued by SSH Korean Language School) - Certificate for Part-time Employment (issued by SSH Koraen Language school)

Precautions :

  • it is impossible to have a part-time job when the average attendance rate of total completed sessions is 90% or less.

  • - When you have an illegal part-time job, you will be deported and be fined one million Korean won (KRW1,000,000).
